LeeElla and I enjoyed a beautiful morning joining up with Neighborhood Matters, a community betterment initiative of the Spokane Regional Heath Dept. to clean up Underhill park by our house. I enjoyed spending time with Lee even if it revolved around picking up a lot of beer bottles, broken glass, clothing items, a condom, and other disgusting items littered through out our beautiful park. There was around 30 or so people and we gathered almost 600 pounds of trash. It’s unfortunate that people don’t treasure the beauty through out East Central better, it really does have some amazing places to enjoy nature.
"It is a land the LORD your God cares for; the eyes of the LORD your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end." -Deut 11:12
